Hertz Names Lois I. Boyd Sr. VP, Process Improvement and Project Management

PARK RIDGE, NJ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 11/30/2007 -- Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: HTZ) announced that Lois I. Boyd has been appointed Senior Vice President, Process Improvement and Project Management. Ms. Boyd joins Hertz from Tenneco, Inc. where she served for the last four years as Vice President and General Manager, Global Commercial Vehicle Segment, Specialty Markets and the last six years as Vice President, Global OE Program Management. Prior to joining Tenneco in 1997, Ms. Boyd held Director and Manager-level positions at Aeroquip/Vickers and Trinova.

Frissora, Hertz's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, commenting on Ms. Boyd's appointment, said, "Lois Boyd successfully led Tenneco's global, companywide reengineering and efficiency initiatives, and retained program management responsibility while successfully building Tenneco's commercial segment on a global basis, helping to diversify their business portfolio. Lois has the executive-level skills and experience necessary to lead Hertz's efforts to drive execution and sustainability on our global Lean/Six Sigma initiatives. Additionally, Lois will ensure that companywide process reengineering and other efficiency initiatives are executed utilizing process and program management disciplines. Also, Lois will be the senior management team leader for our goal to create a culture of continuous improvement at Hertz."

Ms. Boyd completed her M.S. studies in Administration at Central Michigan University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from Oakland University.
