Hertz Prestige Collection Takes Luxury Rental Service to a New Level
On June 1, 2001, Hertz launches another new level of premium car rental service with the Hertz Prestige Collection, an exclusive program that combines several makes and models from Premier Automotive Group, an enterprise of Ford Motor Company, including Jaguar, Land Rover, Lincoln and Volvo, with Hertz' exclusive customer services.
Phase I of the launch includes 20 markets in the United States and Canada. Hertz plans to expand the program to 19 more North American markets by the end of 2003 and to several select European and Australian cities next year.

In Phase I, Hertz Prestige Collection vehicles and services, will be available in 17 U.S. markets: Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas, Dallas, Denver, Phoenix, Atlanta, Orlando, Miami, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Washington, D.C., Chicago, and Boston. In Canada, the program will be located in Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto.
The service component of the Hertz Prestige Collection program includes: -- Model specific reservability of Jaguar, Land Rover, Lincoln and Volvo -- Dedicated, on-site staffing to answer questions about the vehicles and assist customers -- Free pick-up and return from suburban hotels and resorts within a 15 mile radius of Hertz Prestige Collection locations -- Vehicles parked in a weather protected, identified area -- Reservations at a new toll-free number 800-654-2250 -- Special section at hertz.com for information on the Hertz Prestige Collection vehicles, services and locations -- Expedited return service -- Complimentary NeverLost®, Hertz' on board navigational system in all HPC vehicles -- One year fee-waived membership in Hertz #1 Club Gold® -- Bonuses on airline miles or #1 Club Awards® through 12/31/01
